Your driver will pick you up from your Arusha accommodation at 8 a.m. for a three-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day game driving in the park, which covers 2,800 square kilometers and is home to elephants, climbing trees, pythons, and baobab trees. The park is named after the Tarangire River, a key water source for wildlife. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Tarangire Safaris Lodge.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara for a full day of wildlife viewing. Observe tree-climbing lions and flamingos drawn to the lake's algae. Visit a hot spring and the Maasai boma to learn about Maasai culture. Return to Eileen's Tree Inn for dinner and an overnight stay.
Head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular wildlife drive. The crater is home to over 30,000 animals, including the Big Five, zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs, and endangered black rhinoceroses. Enjoy the stunning scenery and proceed to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel to Lake Ndutu in the Ngorongoro conservation area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. The alkaline lake attracts diverse local fauna. After lunch at the lodge or camp, enjoy an afternoon wildlife drive through the Ndutu region, which is densely populated with elephants, birds, and resident wildlife, especially during the wildebeest migration from December to April. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Angata Lodge.
Travel to the central Serengeti, known as Seronera, after breakfast. This region is one of the park's best animal habitats, featuring the Seronera River, an important water source. Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon on a wildlife drive. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Angata Tented Lodge.
Experience a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti Plains at an additional fee (pre-arrangement required). Float gently over the bush, viewing wildlife and the panoramic African landscape. After breakfast, embark on a full-day wildlife drive in the Serengeti National Park, focusing on the Seronera region. This area is crucial for the wildebeest migration from November to April. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the Seronera region, depending on your accommodation preference.
After breakfast, travel to the Seronera airstrip, enjoying a wildlife drive along the way. Board a scheduled flight to Arusha around midmorning. Upon arrival at Arusha airport, meet your driver and travel to Arusha town for lunch. Conclude your African safari journey with a transfer to your accommodation.
