Upon arriving in Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania nestled at the foot of Mt. Meru, you'll be captivated by its vibrant atmosphere. The city’s proximity to Arusha National Park and other northern parks makes it an ideal starting point for your adventures. A short trip from Arusha can lead you to the Serengeti, passing through scenic spots like Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After your arrival, you'll settle in at Corridor Spring Hotel, ready for the exciting journey ahead. Take time to relax and enjoy the serene environment of the hotel. Tomorrow's adventure awaits, so get a good night's rest.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast as your driver-guide briefs you and provides packed lunch boxes for the journey. You will head straight to Tarangire National Park for a thrilling half-day game drive. Keep your camera ready for the park's diverse wildlife and iconic baobab trees. In the late afternoon, you will journey to Mto wa Mbu, where you will spend the night. This vibrant village offers a unique cultural experience, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration.
After breakfast, your guide will take you to Lake Manyara National Park, famed for its tree-climbing lions. The park's dramatic landscape, bordered by the Rift Valley escarpment and the alkaline Lake Manyara, offers stunning views and abundant wildlife. Enjoy a full day of safari drives, observing elephants, hippos, and a variety of bird species. In the evening, return to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay, reflecting on the day's adventures amidst the village's serene surroundings.
Set off early for the Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at the Loduare Gate after a 1.5-hour drive. The highlands surrounding the crater provide a perfect balance of wilderness and comfort. After a full day of game drives and exploration, your driver will take you back to Arusha for your overnight stay. This day marks a pinnacle in your safari, with memories that will last a lifetime.
