Schedule
Depart from Arusha in the morning with your family. Drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and large elephant populations. Enjoy a safari drive through the park with your family, spotting various animals like giraffes, zebras, and birds, and have a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, head to your preferred family-friendly lodge/camp near Tarangire for an overnight stay and relaxation.
Leave Tarangire after breakfast and travel with your family to Lake Manyara National Park, approximately a two-hour drive away. Begin your family game drive upon entering the park, famous for its colorful birdlife and tree-climbing creatures. Take a break for a meal in the park, then continue exploring with your family along the lake's shores and other scenic spots. Exit the park in the afternoon and return to your family lodging in the Arusha region.
Enjoy a leisurely morning at the hotel with your family or choose an optional activity, such as a cultural visit or nature walk. After lunch, depart from the hotel and start your family’s return journey to Arusha, a two- to three-hour drive. Upon arrival in Arusha, your family may have the chance for last-minute shopping or exploring local markets if time permits. Depending on your departure time, you might also enjoy a farewell family dinner at a nearby restaurant, concluding your safari adventure in Arusha.
